Today went for church.
Topic was regarding national day or some sort.
I remembered one point very strongly.
Our fathers, or rather those that settle in spore during those times where japanese occupation, took years and years before they enjoy real freedom. With strong leaders, we became a strong nation, w/o Mr Lee or those pioneers, i doubt we'll have what we have now. Spore will just be another country where lack of security, resources. Never will it be safe or peaceful.
& it's true enuff, we youngsters never learn to protect this tiny land of ours.
