There's one scene where the 張真人, the master of 武黨派 who was teaching 張無記 the 太極拳 he just invented to fight the 君主's 手下 then the main key to the 太極拳 is not to remember any stance or let anything interrupt.
Then the 張真人 asked 張無記;

張真人: 你記住嗎?
張無記: 不記得..
張真人: 你記的你老爸的名嗎?
張無記: 忘記了..
